Too many frameworks.

10 May 2006

I believe Vikram Goyal is right. There are too many java frameworks and us, java developers, all would want to write our own. The bag of frameworks is so big, one could easily pick the wrong one for a particular job.

That’s what makes Ruby on Rails so successful IMO. There is only one. So if you want to build a webapp and you want to do it in ruby, there are no hard choices (which framework?) to make.
