There’s been a new release of SLAX. Lot’s of new things, check out the changelog, the part I like best is the addition of ndiswrapper. This allows users to use Windows drivers for wifi cards.
There even are special versions these days, quote from the changelog:
New special SLAX versions released, based on SLAX 4.2.0!
Kill-Bill edition with WINE, FreeDOS, DosEMU and Qemu
Popcorn edition with XFce, Mozilla and beep-media-player (xmms clone)
Professional edition with GCC and other devel stuff
Oh and for those who don’t know SLAX yet, it’s a small Linux Live CD based on Slackware.
