i’m using hibernate, webwork, velocity and i’m not sure how to handle my sessions.
for example, in an webwork-action i open a hibernate-session, perform a search and then pass a list (the result of the search) to a velocity-template. now this works like a charm, the only problem is, when do i close my session? if i close it after i did the search, hibernate complains that the session is closed when trying to read the list in velocity…are you still with me :)
i have to do some more reading on hibernate sessions and collections i guess…
if anybody has some ideas, let me know :)
